Cook Hill School is nestled on the top of the hill on the West side of Wallingford minutes from the Toyota Oakdale Theater and Blue Hills Orchard. Built in 1964, the building is home to the PROUD Cook Hill Cougars. A one story building housing Preschool-Grade 2 learners, the building features 2 inside courtyards and a large open playground with two playscape structures, a buddy bench, and a Little Free Library.

An enrollment of approximately 375 students participate in a variety of lessons focused on Early Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Curriculum is based on the CT ELDS and Common Core Standards. In addition students engage in lessons focused on Art, Music, Library, Technology, and Physical Education.

Sharing our Parent Advisory and PTO with our sister school, Parker Farms, we are fortunate to have a dedicated and engaged parent community offering many varied cultural and hands-on experiences to our students.

A diverse community of learners, we are proud of our unique differences that bring us all together! Utilizing Responsive Classroom and the Second Step Curriculum we place a high importance on building social emotional resilience and independence.
