Mr. Zachary Munroe is thrilled to join the Cook Hill Elementary School community. Throughout his career, which has included both teacher and leadership roles in the New Haven, Milford, and Naugatuck school districts, Mr. Munroe has collaborated with students, families, and educators to develop and implement shared visions for success. Mr. Munroe's greatest joy as an educator is bringing people together around common goals and fostering a love for lifelong learning. His passion lies in supporting students' holistic success, building community partnerships, and leading through an equity lens.

Mr. Munroe lives in Seymour with his wife and their three elementary aged boys, whose grades range from Pre-K to second grade. Outside of work, Mr. Munroe enjoys staying active, hiking, playing games with his children, swimming, and biking.

As he steps into his role at Cook Hill, Mr. Munroe aims to exceed community expectations by fostering a shared mission for student success and community support. Mr. Munroe is excited to drive continuous improvement and contribute to Cook Hill Elementary's ongoing growth and excellence, making the school year extraordinary.
